Estepona – Costa Del Sol

Transfer Time – 1 hour

Best For – Everyone….so much to see and do for people of all ages

Estepona is a charming town located on the far west of the Costa Del Sol, a traditional town with many beautiful old buildings, plenty sun, sea and sand for everyone and a lot of different activities on offer, regardless of age or preference. Estepona is a fantastic choice for your summer holidays and only a 2.5 hour flight from the UK, you can be there sooner than you think.

The seafront in Estepona is a wonderful please to spend your day, with miles of wonderful soft sand, which gently shelves down into crystal blue sea, a safe haven for little ones to play, the surf is calm and she water shallow.  There is plenty sun loungers and parasols for hire and the beachfront is lined with bars, cafes and restaurants so you can escape the midday sun.  for the more energetic, there is lots of water sports on offer, jet skis, para sailing, pedallos and banana rides to name a few. For those wanting peace and quiet, there are a handful of wonderful, smaller coves along the main beach, where a sun lounger and a good book are the order of the day.  There is horse riding, tennis, volleyball and bikes for hire too, so plenty to keep you occupied.

Evenings are a mixture of quiet, laid back or lively and fun filled.  Most couples and families would enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants, watching the sunset and sipping the gorgeous local wine. The resort has a good choice too, with traditional Spanish tapas all the way to Italian, and Indian etc.  There are also plenty of cafes and snack bars and a good selection of take aways too.  Bars and cocktail bars offer a variety of evening entertainments, all family friendly and there are even a couple of discos for those wanting to dance the night away.

Estepona is in a great location for exploring this lovely area, Marbella is a stone’s throw from Estepona, with a funny beach complete with trampolines, crazy golf and go karts, and for the oldie’s, there is always the marina, where you can watch the rich and famous moor their yachts and sip a cool drink in one of the many outdoor cafes and wine bars.  Then you have water parks, zoos, nature reserves and other wonderful attractions in nearby Fuengirola and Torremolinos, the choice is huge.  For the culture vultures, a trip to Tangiers, or Gibraltar and Madrid is a must with fabulous architecture and historical sights to explore. So much to see, so little time.
