Transfer time – 2 hours

Best for – Lively families and couples

Hanitoi is located on the Kassandra Peninsular and has recently became one of the liveliest destinations in this area, although still retaining its Greek charm and traditional themes. Hanitoti is a friendly resort and the locals try their utmost to ensure your stay is perfect and you receive everything you need.

Although being located as part of the Greek mainland, its hard to believe you are not located on a tropical island. The beach is Hanitoti is fabulous golden sand, gently shelving into the most perfect crystal clear sea, with stunning views of the neighbouring Sithonia peninsular. The views are stunning and is just the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down. There are plenty of water sports for the more energetic, such as pedallos, canoes, jet skis, water skiing and paragliding to name but a few. The beach remains uncrowded, even during high season and there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols to hire and of course plenty cafés and tavernas to escape the midday sun.

Evenings can be as lively or as quiet as you wish, the main street as an excellent choice of lively bars, cafés and pubs offering local spirits, beers and wines and of course cocktails too. However, should you wish to enjoy a more laid back atmosphere, there are many quieter bars on the outskirts of the resort, just a short walk from the village itself. There are many places to wine and dine, everything from snack bars, pizzerias, and cafés, through to the more international restaurants, offering Greek, English, French, Chinese and Indian, to name but a few. There are also many traditional Greek tavernas offering fabulous fresh fish and local meats, lovingly prepared and many tavernas offer a floor show of Greek dancing and the Greek plate smashing, perfect entertainment for all.

Hanitoi is perfectly located for exploring this beautiful area of Greece. In particular is the many historical sights on offer, take in Mount Athos, The Royal Tombs of Alexander and the ruins of Dion, just few superb excursions and educational too!! Beach lovers will love Halkidiki, many nearby resorts have superb beaches, a favourite for both locals and holiday makers has got to be Kyropigi beach, a total paradise and a perfect location for a get away from it all feel. There are water parks, horse riding, scuba diving, walks, bird watching and many many more activities to keep you entertained.

Thessaloniki is Greece’s second largest city and should be visited if possible, then trundle down one of the peninsulas and enjoy all that this beautiful part of greets has to offer, you wont be disappointed.
