Messonghi and Moraitika are two small villages that have merged as the resorts have grown over the years, its now difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins. Situated 10 kilometres south of Corfu Town on the east coast of this beautiful island, making it a great resort to get out and about and see different resorts and towns. Messonghi and Moraitika are very pretty resorts with some breathtaking scenery and are lush with green vegetation, one of the reasons the island of Corfu is nick named The Emerald Isle.

Both resorts have a lovely sand and shingle beach which gently shelve into the Mediterranean sea making it very popular with all ages groups, especially for those with children as it is perfect for children to paddle and enjoy the sunshine. For the more energetic, there is a good selection of water sports available too, from water skiing, diving, jet skis and paragliding, very popular with the teenagers. And for those wanting to relax, the beaches are uncrowded and sunbed hire is very reasonable too, and of course there is a good selection of beach front restaurants and cafés for a break from all the glorious sunshine.

The night life in Messonghi is slightly more relaxed than in Moraitika, however both are in such a close proximity of each other, you definitely have best of both worlds. There are some lively bars and discos for the young and lively and there are also a fabulous choice of family bars offering a more fun environment with bingo, quizzes and karaoke etc. the choice of places to wine and dine are huge, there is a good selection of fast food places, lovely traditional Greek tavernas and of course some lovely top mark restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine, Indian, Chinese, Italian, the choice of huge. For those wanting to really dance til dawn, the party capital of Corfu – Kavos is a short taxi ride too, a massive resort offering dance, cocktails and nightclubs in abundance.

The choice of excursions available to you in these two resorts are massive. Take a bus or taxi into Corfu Town, there you will find historical sights such as the Venetian Fortresses, and Byzantine churches, or maybe you prefer shopping?? Well Corfu Town has it all, local street markets, fashionable boutiques and an abundance of souvenir shops too. There is a beautiful marina to wander around and a great selection of places to wine and dine. There is local water parks for the families and a gold course in the Ropa Valley, the choice is endless, be sure to pop into the many tourist shops and see what’s on offer, you wont be disappointed.

A true all round resort, there is something here to suit all tastes and budgets, the accommodation is also very varied from basic 1* self catering to 5* luxury hotels, what more do you need we ask???
