Playa Del Ingles offers 7 kilometres of safe sandy shores, but the town itself is more suited to livelier families or families with older children. Playa Taurito, Playa Amadores and San Augustin have a much more chilled out atmosphere. There is excursions to entertain all, including camel rides, cowboy towns-Sioux City and aqua parks.

Lanzarote, now a dormant volcano, is an intriguing island with a great selection of beaches and family friendly towns, Matagorda and Playa De Los Picollos neighbouring the livelier town of Puerto del Carmen offer a lovely section of bars and restaurants, markets, wild west ranches and lagoons.
