For those who fancy something a little bit livelier, you can take a short trip into nearby Cala ‘n Bosch or Son Bou where the ambience is much busier and the choice much bigger. Shopping is a great thing to do on an evening once the temperatures have dropped, and nearby Ferreries has a wonderful late market where you can pick up some lovely holiday souvenirs and bargains.

Menorca has so many fabulous places to visit and Cala Galdana is well situated for getting out and about and seeing the island. Everyone should take in Mahon, it suits all, firstly the culture vultures who will love wandering around the cobbled streets, with ancient buildings, the medieval fortress and the museums and monuments. Then Mahon is big on shopping with many, many shops, boutiques and souvenir stalls and the marina is particularity popular for wining and dining too. There are water parks in resort and larger ones a short drive, providing young and young at heart with a fun day out. The location is perfect for going to see the “dancing horse” of Andalusia, a truly magnificent performance between man and beast. There’s so much to see, and something to suit everyone’s taste and budget.
