Best For – Families and couples wanting a laid back holiday and beautiful beach

Binibeca is a stunning resort located in the south coast of Menorca, perfect for customers looking for a total getaway holiday. The resort is located on some of the best beaches on the island and is in a perfect location to visit nearby resort and other major attractions on the island. With a special made made harbour area, recreating an oldy worldly feel of cobbled streets and outdoor cafés, just perfect for sipping a cool drink and watching the world go by.

The beach in Binibeca is superb, over 2 miles of soft, golden sand which shelves ever so gently into the sea. The bay is shallow and safe and perfect for children to play and because the sea is crystal clear too, its absolutely fantastic for diving and snorkelling too. There is plenty sun loungers and parasols for hire and a selection of places to get a drink and lunch during the day. There is not a huge selection of water sports here, however a short taxi or local bus will take you to nearby resorts where you will find a much larger choice. For those wanting complete relaxation, walk a little further along the coast and you will find a beautiful cove offering total peace and quiet. Other daytime activities for those who want a change from relaxing can take a horse ride or a game of golf, and there’s even a cricket ground too.

Evenings in Binibeca are very laid back, most holiday makers like nothing better than enjoying a lovely meal in one of the restaurants, all washed down with a lovely glass of rose. Most popular, because of being a little fishing resort, is the fresh fish restaurants with fish caught that day on the menu, in fact some of the lobsters etc. are still live in the tank and you choose which one you wish them to cook for you, absolutely gorgeous. There are a handful of family friendly bars with some of them offering evening entertainments and happy hours. Many people enjoy a wander around the harbour and the various shops and souvenirs stalls on an evening too, when its not so hot.

Binibeca is a lovely resort and if you can bear to leave this little piece of heaven, there are many lovely areas to consider. Why not take a trip to Cala Galdana and watch the tremendous performances of the dancing Andalucian Horses, a fun evening trip and just amazing to watch. Another popular excursion is a visit to the highest point in Menorca, Monte Toro rising 352 metres high, with a 300 year old sanctuary. Menorca has plenty for the culture vultures, with over 1000 various attractions, prehistoric temples and monuments and Mahon is fabulous too with its 17th Century fortress. Mahon is also popular as the islands capital city, as it has a many shops, boutiques and souvenir stalls, and masses of places to wine and dine. For the families, there is horse riding, and fairgrounds and a couple of water parks to keep the young and young at heart entertained.
