Best For – Couples and families looking for a cosmopolitan holiday with a family feel

Puerto Pollensa is one of Majorca’s most beautiful resorts, not only odes it have stunning views, mountain backdrops and pine trees as far as the eye can see, it has a spectacular marina mooring some of the worlds richest yachts and probably the best beaches on the whole island. British clients have been returning here for years and it also has a high number of Ex pat’s locating here too. It is just superb.

The beaches in Puerto Pollensa are stunning, the main beach running from the marina to the pine walk has masses of soft golden sand, gentle lapping, shallow water and offers a great location for scuba diving. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for hire and a good selection of bars, cafés and restaurants for lunch and refreshments. There are plenty water sports too, jet skiing, para gliding, water skiing and pedalloes, not to mention ringo’s and banana rides to name but a few. There is a diving centre offering tuition to adults and children, and for those who want to do nothing, there are some wonderful little coves either side of the main beach.

Evenings in Puerto Pollensa are varied depending what you are looking to do. Families are welcomed in all bars, cafés and cocktail bars and offer a variety of evening entertainment. There is one nightclub too. Many prefer to sit back and watch the world go by on the marina, with its huge choice of cafés and restaurants, and the feel around the marina is very cosmopolitan. There are many restaurants offering varied menus including English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Indian to name but a few. The Old town has many shops, cafés and bars too and is definitely worth a wander up and see the beautiful old buildings.

If you can bear to leave this little piece of heaven, Puerto Ppollensa is perfectly positioned to get out and explore this wonderful island. Obviously, boat trips around the island tend to leave from Puerto Pollensa marina and will take you to many wonderful beaches and smaller villages. A must see is the capital of Palma, with many shops, historical sights fabulous places to eat and drink. There is 2 water parks within a short drive too, and offer hours and hours of fun for the young and young at heart. The Caves of Drach offer a great day out, taking a boat trip in the underground lake, then spending a few hours in a beautiful town of Porto Christo, a great place to pick up some lovely leather goods and souvenirs.

Puerto Pollensa has many reason to visit, once you have been once, we guarantee, you will want to go again!!!
