Best For – Couples and families looking for a pretty and relaxing holiday

C’an Picafort is a relatively new resort to the UK package holiday scene, its been a popular resort for many years with British Ex Pat community and offers a romantic and friendly family resort, beautiful scenery and very friendly locals who wish to make your holiday that little bit more special.

Located on the North coast of Majorca, the beaches in C’an Picafort offer over 2 kilometres of un crowded, soft golden sand, gently shelving into the Mediterranean sea, with crystal clear, shallow waters make it perfect for families with young children, offering a safe place to play. There are many sun loungers and parasols to hire and plenty cafés and beach front restaurants offering light lunches and a break from the midday sun. For those wanting a little excitement, there is an amazing choice of water sports on offer too, from jet skis to pedallos, banana rides and para gliding, there is something here to suit everyone.

Night-life in C’an Picafort is very relaxed and laid back with most evenings spent relaxing over a meal in one of the many lovely restaurants, eating Al fresco in the open air restaurants and washing it all down with a lovely bottle of local wine or beer. There are many family friendly pubs and bars, but again the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. For a little more upbeat evenings, you could always take a taxi into nearby Alcudia, where there is a good mix of night-life and even a couple of nightclubs.

C’an Picafort is perfectly positioned to get out and about and explore a bit of Majorca, there are many nearby attractions too, should you not want to venture to far. Alcudia is a lovely place to visit, with its old town, full of churches, historical walls and cobbled streets and off course a great array of shops, souvenirs stalls and cafés. The harbour area is also a lovely place to enjoy a long drink and just sit an watch the world go by. There is a water park near Alcudia too, for the young and young at heart. Further afield, you have the amazing Caves of Drach, which includes a boat trip and some amazing sights to see underground. Palma has its own Aquarium, Mediterranean jungle and beautiful gardens, not to mention museums, great shopping and much much more.

There is so much to see and do in Majorca and C’an Picafort is just idyllic, beautiful pine clads hillside sweeping down to the glorious beach, tell me….what’s not to like??
