Best For – Those wanting quiet days, lively night and culture

Ibiza Town is a fabulous resort, the islands capital, situated on the east coast of the island, it is an area that has a little something for everyone. The resort is charming, with beautiful architecture and stunning views along the coast line and is a perfect location to rub shoulders with the rich and famous.

Day times in Ibiza Town can be as laid back or as exciting as you wish. Many holiday makers spend their days relaxing around the pool or enjoying the locals beaches, all of which are lovely golden sand, that gently shelves into the sea, plenty sun loungers and parasols and a great selection of water sports. Many folk enjoy a wander along to Figueretas, a nearby resort with a fabulous beach and lovely cafés, bars and restaurants. Ibiza Town has a beautiful marina, where you can sit and watch all the fabulous private yachts come and go and enjoy a long cool drink and some of the best seafood on offer or wander around the medieval part of town with its castle and winding cobbled streets. There are lots of shops, boutiques and stalls selling souvenirs and most are open day and night.

Evenings in Ibiza Town are when things really come alive, the choice of bars, cocktail bars and wine bars are endless and there are a few discos, but the beauty of this town is that they are all family friendly and most of the really noisy bars are set away from the centre. The town has a very cosmopolitan feel to it and is very popular with all walks of life, don’t be surprised if you see a few famous faces. There are so many lovely places to wine and dine, especially around the marina with the Al fresco dining and superb fish restaurants. There are plenty internationally themed restaurants too and obviously a good choice of fast food, café and snack bars too.

Ibiza Town is perfectly located for getting out and about and exploring this wonderful island. There are many lovely resorts nearby and make a nice change of scenery, in particular Playa D’en Bossa with its blue flag beach and many water sports. Es Cana is another lovely resort with its weekly hippy market where you are sure to pick up a bargain. For those looking for a fun day out, especially those with children, there is a brilliant water park with a huge variety of water slides, chutes and swimming pools. Boat trips are a great way of getting around the island, stopping off at various beaches and coves only reached by boat and off course the sunsets are famous here, so why not combine both and enjoy a beautiful sunset boat trip and enjoy fine wine, food and spectacular views.
