Es Cana also known as Playa Es Cana is a beautiful resort located on the north of the island, perfectly located for a get away break and a stunning location with fantastic views. Es Cana has been a popular destination for British holiday makers and many families return here year after year.

Es Cana beach is a peaceful enclave, sheltered by a dramatic backdrop of pine trees and flora and fauna. The beach itself is wonderful, awarded a blue flag for its cleanliness and safe waters. The sand is gorgeous, soft golden sand which gently shelves into the crystal, clear waters, and the bay is shallow and safe, especially for children. There is a limited number of water sports, but you can find a much larger choice in nearby Santa Eulalia. The beach has plenty sun loungers and parasols and is not over crowded, even during high season. The beach is backed by plenty cafés and snack bars and a few restaurants where you an have lunch or get a refreshingly cool drink.

Evenings in Es Cana are relaxed and laid back. There is a good selection of family friendly bars, cafés and cocktail bars offering a variety of evening entertainment and of course you can enjoy an evening meal in one of the traditional Spanish restaurants and cafés. There is a couple of international restaurants too, serving Italian, Indian and Chinese menus. The shops in Es Cana are open until the early hours, and most visited in early evening when the heat from the sun has gone down. For those wanting a much livelier night-life, San Antonio is easily reached by local transport and here you will experience the famous nightclubs and bars that this area is famous for.

Es Cana is perfectly situated for getting out and about and seeing this wonderful island. Many families will enjoy at day at the water park, with over 15 water slides and chutes, fun for all ages. The shoppers amongst you will love the hippy market, held every Wednesday, where you can get a fantastic array of local arts and crafts and some amazing souvenirs to take home. Some of you will enjoy a boat trip which is a perfect way to get out and see some of the beautiful resorts and beaches this island has to offer, but some of you would also enjoy a fantastic sunset, so why not combine the two, all served up with a beautiful meal and wine on a catamaran. Ibiza Town in perfect for the culture vultures out there, with a fantastic and interesting Medieval part of town, better known as Dalt Vila, as well as many other historical sights and of course the harbour and varied evening choices.
